Application

Range of stainless steel wire

201: (1Cr17Mn6Ni5N)

Features: As a widely used steel, it is low in nickel and has good wear resistance. It is mainly used in building materials factories, coal mining, water tanks, air conditioners, food machinery and other industries.

 

202: (1Cr18Mn8Ni5N)

Features: As a widely used stainless steel, it has corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties without heat treatment hardening phenomenon, and has good bending and hot processing performance.

 

304: (0Cr18Ni9)

Characteristics: As a widely used steel, it has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties. Good hot workability such as stamping and bending, no heat treatment hardening phenomenon, and no magnetism.

 

304L: (00Cr19Ni10)

Features: As a low-C 304 steel, its corrosion resistance is similar to that of 304 steel under normal conditions, but it has strong resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or stress relief. In the case of no heat treatment, it can also maintain good corrosion resistance and is non-magnetic.

309S: (0Cr23Ni13)

Features: It can withstand repeated heating below 980°C, and has high high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and carburization resistance.

310S: (0Cr25Ni20)

Features: Suitable for making various furnace components, can withstand extremely high temperature of 1200°C, and continuous use temperature of 1150°C.

316: (0Cr17Ni12Mo2)

316L: (0Cr17Ni14Mo2)

Features: As a low C series of 316 steel, in addition to having the same characteristics as 316 steel, it has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion.

408 characteristics: good heat resistance, weak corrosion resistance, 11% Cr, 8% Ni.

409 Features: Very cheap models (British and American), usually used as automobile exhaust pipes, are ferritic stainless steel (chrome steel).

410 Features: It belongs to martensite (high-strength chromium steel), has good wear resistance and poor corrosion resistance.

416 Features: The addition of sulfur improves the processing performance of the material.

420 features: "cutting tool grade" martensitic steel, similar to the earliest stainless steel such as Brinell high chromium steel. It is also used for surgical knives and can be made very shiny.

430 Features: Ferritic stainless steel, for decoration, such as for automotive accessories. Good formability, but poor temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

440 Features: High-strength cutting tool steel with slightly higher carbon content. After proper heat treatment, a higher yield strength can be obtained, and the hardness can reach 58HRC. It belongs to the list of extra-hard stainless steels. A common application example is "razor blades". There are three commonly used models: 440A, 440B, 440C, and 440F (easy to process).
